Fisherman's Apartment - Budapest

Fisherman's Apartment

A delightful, cosy, character apartment that draws its name from the Fishermans Bastion of Buda Castle just behind the apartment. The recently renovated building and apartment can trace its history back over 300 years and an old (hidden) well underneath the courtyard may go back centuries before this. (Budapest contains the best preserved Roman ruins outside of Italy - see history pages)

Fishermans Apartment is centrally located and well situated for visiting all of Budapest. Its two bedrooms and comfortable double sofa bed provides space enough even for large groups (up to six). We will meet you on arrival and are available at any time.

Nearby are over eleven cafes and restaurants, with a post office, chemist, a Bureau de Change that gives a very good commission free rates and an atmospheric local bar.

Just 500 metres from the apartment with a leisurely and picturesque stroll along the Danube is Batthyány Tér, a main square and metro/tram/bus station giving easy access to every part of the city.
There is also the Market Hall, bank, Spar supermarket and Granny's Pancake Shop!
